My journey began under the California sun where I was born to Cambodian refugees.

During the 90’s at age 19 I found myself living in a tree house on the north shore of Kauai. I learned to surf and my deep love affair with nature & world travel began.

My other love was photography. Blessed to attend my dream photography school in very dreamy Santa Barbara in 2002 — it was a career that spanned many years until a new calling appeared...

In 2014 I studied at the New York Institute of Aromatherapy, each moment in awe of the science and spirit of oils. There I met the alchemist within, creating seductive oil blends that eventually birthed life to Songsaa.

Looking back it all happened like a dream; without a plan, toting a bag of oils with me so I could blend and create as I wandered. I LOVED the way it all felt...the aromas, the alchemy, the oil on my skin, the response...it was pure magic.

These days I’m reveling in the depth & beauty that comes as I age and gather more wisdom. You'll still find the spirit of that 19 year old surfing on Kauai ~ it's a sacred place I have yet to stray too far or long from. And when the world calls ~ as it often does ~ I know I must answer.

The wild & mysterious journey continues! Together may we courageously soften into the deepest, most profound & tender LOVE with ourselves...and from that place let’s love & honor one another.
